Art Workshops Pottery Studio provide beginners to advanced pottery wheel and hand building ceramics workshops and classes on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Learn how to throw on a pottery wheel to begin your journey, or expand your skills to create functional or decorative pieces that can be crafted to reflect your own style and design. In the Beginners on the Pottery Wheel workshops you will learn to throw a small mug and 2 bowls to get you addicted to this timeless craft.
If you prefer hand building with clay there are workshops on Thursday morning pottery classes for the keen potter to build platters, vases, candle burners and hand made mugs. Small class numbers for focussed one on one tuition.
Included in your 2 hour workshop is clay, tools, and a bisque firing of your pieces (up to 3 pieces). Your work will be ready for collection in 2 weeks after firing in our kiln. Optionally, you can book a glazing session after this workshop, glazing is done in a 2 hour session and includes glazes and gloss firing for your 3 pieces for a $40 fee.

any fears And create a fun and relaxed environment For you To explore your creativity.

Glazing is not included in certain workshops. If you would like to book a glazing session (two hours) To come back again or have your glazing completed for you and sent to you options are available.
