Introduction to Art Workshop
If you love the idea of beginning a journey into art then this workshop will be a valuable start to show you how to explore and become confident with a variety of media, tools and a visual journal. Guided by a friendly artist, you will explore the art of visual journaling creating samples and experiments through a variety of media and use colours, designs and materials as a form of self-expression. You'll learn the skills to be able to transfer what you're thinking and visualising onto the paper using anything from graphite to pencil, watercolours, paints, dry pastels and more!

Janine Delgos is a qualified secondary art educator and artist with 30 years of experience in the realm of Visual Art and Education. She has been a prolific teacher in both regional and coastal schools in and around the Sunshine Coast and is passionate at encouraging her students to explore and break conventions and boundaries to find their own narrative as well as fostering community creativity and mentoring the young and talented.
