School Holidays - Studio Clay Day for Kids January 16th 2025

Uncover a love of ceramics and the pottery wheel with Art Workshops' exciting kid's only beginner's pottery wheel throwing and hand building workshop on the Sunshine Coast!

In this one day clay day, your child will be guided through the basic steps to creating wheel thrown and hand built pieces by an expert ceramicist. They will learn about the meditative process of wheel throwing and how to make their own unique noodle bowl ,cups, platters and more! They will find an inner balance as they sink their hands into some soft clay in a fun and relaxed environment.

Whether you're looking for things to do for your child on the Sunshine Coast or a creative way for them to spend a day up in the Art Workshops Studio, this beginner-friendly child wheel throwing and hand building class could be the answer! Not only will they leave feeling calm and relaxed, but they'll have learnt new skills from a professional with their own ceramic pieces to show for it!

Day Workshop includes bisque firing and glazing of 3 pieces. To be collected 2 weeks after workshop.
