Hand Building Course

Gain confidence and an insight into how to use hand building pottery techniques such as slab, pinch and moulds to create unique pieces for yourself as a set or series. Find an inner balance and connect with clay. Create your own hand made bowls, mugs, spoons or platters that can be crafted to reflect your own style and design. You will be guided how to follow through a piece of clay to a final functional product that you will be proud to display and use that could get you addicted to this timeless craft. Small class numbers for focussed one on one tuition. 2 hour session x 4.
Included in your workshop for 4 sessions is clay, tools, and a bisque firing and gloss firing of your pieces (up to 3 pieces). Your work will be ready for collection in 2 weeks after your sessions are completed. Glazing of all your pieces can be done during your four sessions.
Your four sessions begin on the Thursday of your booking date. These 4 sessions will be shown on a card that will be highlighted until you have completed all 4 sessions consecutively.
