Kids Beginners Pottery Wheel Workshop July 3rd 2025

Beginners Pottery Wheel For Kids includes 1 x 2 hour session using the pottery wheel techniques! This session will provide kids with knowledge about clay from its beginnings through to a finished piece to take home.
Whether you're looking for things to do for your child on the Sunshine Coast or a creative way for them to spend an afternoon, this beginner-friendly child wheel throwing workshop could be the answer! Not only will they leave feeling calm and relaxed, but they'll have learnt new skills from a professional with their own ceramic pieces to show for it!
Clay, tools, bisque and gloss firings are included. Pieces made will involve techniques and skills to make 3 pieces. They will be ready for pick up after 2-3 weeks..

Janine Delgos is a qualified secondary art educator and artist with 30 years of experience in the realm of Visual Art and Education. She has been a prolific teacher in both regional and coastal schools in and around the Sunshine Coast and is passionate at encouraging her students to explore and break conventions and boundaries to find their own narrative as well as fostering community creativity and mentoring the young and talented.
